Kristan Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 I've just had the question asked, will pbxnsip run on windows server 2008. I hadn't realised this was RTM already! Anyone tried this yet? Quote
Vodia PBX Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 We don't run it here, but Vista was running great so far. Especially if you use IPv6. Quote
Kristan Posted March 3, 2008 Author Report Posted March 3, 2008 Great, I'll find our MSDN sub and get a copy installed to test with. IPv6 is a looooooong way off yet for us thou Quote
Sara_Donald Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Great, I'll find our MSDN sub and get a copy installed to test with. IPv6 is a looooooong way off yet for us thou It works well with Windows Server 2008 and IPV6 makes for smooth operations. the only problem you may encounter is that if you intend on using the web server, you will no longer have access to the admin web page of pbxnsip. DNS Connections Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 First install was on 2008 and has been running fine. Quote
jag Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 The only problem you may encounter is that if you intend on using the web server, you will no longer have access to the admin web page of pbxnsip. You should be able to manually edit the pbx.xml file in the working directory and change the ports from 80 and 443. That should work. Quote
VOS automatisering Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 You should be able to manually edit the pbx.xml file in the working directory and change the ports from 80 and 443. That should work. It works great for us. Very Stable. Quote
dcjm Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 What ports did you open on the Server 2008 firewall? Just ports 5060 and 5061? Thanks in advance for the help. Quote
