Server 2008

I've just had the question asked, will pbxnsip run on windows server 2008.

 

I hadn't realised this was RTM already!

 

Anyone tried this yet?

We don't run it here, but Vista was running great so far. Especially if you use IPv6.

It works well with Windows Server 2008 and IPV6 makes for smooth operations. the only problem you may encounter is that if you intend on using the web server, you will no longer have access to the admin web page of pbxnsip.

You should be able to manually edit the pbx.xml file in the working directory and change the ports from 80 and 443.

That should work.

What ports did you open on the Server 2008 firewall? Just ports 5060 and 5061?
