Just use the config tool and make the lines go to the respective extension or ringgroup or attendent.

In answer to your question snom ONE does not support skype native trunks.
You will either need to get their sip to skype service or a sip to skype appliance.
I'm curious about how stable the skype gateway in other pbx systems is. You will need to run skype client on your phone system server using these systems. 3cx for example states "The Skype client does not appear to be 100% stable on Windows 2008 which obviously effects 3CX Gateway for Skype". I think these skypegateways may be okay for home or experimental systems but I wonder how reliable in a business setting?
Another creative (and for sure experimental)would be to use the 3CX skypegateway with snom ONE. The 3cx skype gateway is a seperate application that is basically a skype to sip software app. (it appears to me)
But the simple answer is that snom ONE does not support skype natively.

hi
It look like skype connect is a SIP to skype service.
Should be as easy as adding a SIP trunk.
But it does cost 6.95 per channel.

snom ONE or pbxnsip?
snom ONE doesn't gracefully transfer non-snom devices.
-
okay just to make sure: are you trying to run tapi driver or snom ONE itself?
(i wasn't paying attention to what group this question was in and that you might be trying to run tapi driver--i was thinking snom ONE app earlier.;-)
I know there are issues with running the tapi driver on a 64bit system.
I'm not aware of any issues run 32bit snom ONE on 64bit Windows7 for example.
-
yes, you can run 32b snom one on 64b o/s.
-
oh, read that quick.
yeah, not my solution if AFTER first registration.

most often this is due to http or other ports already being used by windows/linux.
Any chance http port being used by windows?
snom:It sure would be nice if this error would be either logged in windows event log or or message pop up when snom ONe/pbxnsip starting. Even better would be to detect on install.

Here is my comment on sip security.
(as usual long winded--but i think interesting to people here ;-)

I don't have a snom m9, but i was wondering too how that will work.

sure would be nice to solve the issue of automatic flags that need to be set manually as an exception.

Hello,
Here is a snom ONE faq that will answer a lot of your questions:
http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/2010/10/various-thoughts-opinions-and-findings.html
below is an excerpt:
Q: will g729 be included?
A: Yes, in paid editions. Yellow=5, Blue=10.
We'd be glad to sell you a license:

do you have other snom phones and do they provision?
this could eliminate that you have a multicast issue on your network.

David,
Hey, thanks for chiming in. I was thinking about calling you.
Some more questions:
#1-do you have any senarios where you have more than one server in one location because the load is too big for one server alone? (where it really is one company)
#2-on the multi-core issue--do you think once multi-cores work it will multiply the amount of calls able to be handled by the amount of cores? or won't it be that good?

needs notability references.

Hello,
Some more questions on this subject of over 150 users on snom ONE/pbxnsip:
If we get to the point that we need more than 1 pbx server because the CPU load is too high. how easy and what issues come up if we want to add 2nd pbx server box with a SIP tie line connecting the 2?
I'm looking for the issues that come up in real life--
Things I think about:
-directory becomes fragmented
-multi-cast provisioning
-setup all trunks/dialplan/etc twice
-loose BLF between systems?
-more?
Are there some real, show stopper gotchas?

Hi there,
let me be the announce the first add-on for snom ONE/pbxnsip.
I give you regex.Starter for HTTP and CDR to Microsoft SQL reporting.
Features;
- Works both in cdr mode or http-xml mode
- Records agent group queue status info as well (must be in http-xml mode)
- Requires .Net4.0 and SQL 2008 (works in express edition)
- Date and time info in different colums for easy reporting
- Works as a windows service
- Tested in environments has more than 15000 lines of data per day
please contact us for the trial edition.
Happy new year to all!
Taner Ultanir
from my testing regex.Starter intalls nicely and seems to just work.

plug a laptop in. Can it ping pbxserver? Can a softphone on the laptop register to pbx?

Is this url the newer version? check your version...
http://forum.pbxnsip.com/index.php?/topic/4085-various-issues-with-our-new-setup/
this lack of organized build history log and downloads wastes so much time when it seems it could be addressed so easy.

I have to the Snom one Free running on a Mac and also on Windows vista (64). Whenever i try to upload the IVR prompt in .wav in (8 kHz Mono, 16 bit) I click on choose file the file appears and replaces "no file chosen" then i hit save and the file disappears. and thats it. It gets replaced with "no file chosen" Am I doing something wrong? Why are the files not saving?
i think that was a bug with an earlier version?
i'm trying to find where that latest version is...

oh, it's getting worse. I thot you just meant someone just "hacked" the fw onto yealink.
yeah, that is too far fetched. Were they saying that to get you to buy yealink?
-
You mean someone has loaded snom fw on yealink?!
I think i need an url to wipe away my disbelief.

Beware: serious brainstorming to follow. May contain entirely ridicoulous ideas. ;-)
does anyone that knows a lot more about software development know how feasable it would be to make a snom 870 hardware emulator that the actual snom 870 firmware could run on?
It would be very interesting to have a full snom 870 as a softphone. With the touch interface it seems it would be somewhat natural choice as a softphone. Also, using hardware emulator it could be updated with phone firmware. Lync firmware also makes interesting package.
I see there are ARM devie emulators:
http://www.thefreecountry.com/emulators/arm.shtml
Skyeye seems like interesting option:
http://www.skyeye.org/index.shtml
If someone can shoot this down as entirely not feasible I'll stop thinking about it.
Okay, just one last crazy idea for 2010. ;-)
