  2. anyone know where sheevaplug v4 update download is? current sheeva version is: current version 4.0.0.3204 Matt
  3. here: http://kiwi.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Installi...P-PBX_Appliance at bottom. matt
  4. i have a plug pbxnsip. the password seems to have "just changed". Now I can't login as admin. I CAN login as users. How do I reset the admin web password? (searching for answers on the forum and wiki is really tough to get meaningful results.) thanks Matt
  5. just a heads up--cs410 NEEDs internet access when it boots for time just to save someone else time. tx matt
  6. I saw you had pbxnsip spelled uniquely and wondered if that was the reason. Is there an emoticon for shaking your head? matt
  7. I'm curious how long this post will last/survive over there? http://www.3cx.com/forums/ringcentral-to-3...-15.html#p75512 We'll see. Matt
  8. you will find pbxnsip to be very full featured and very solid. pbxnsip has a ton of features--and they work solid. You will likely find that pbxnsip takes a little longer to get your head around. Don't let the initial turn you away--great product. My suggestion is go with v3.4 (as v4 is beta at the moment) to get the best experience. (incidentally I've co-authored the only book on 3CX so I've had a little experience with the product) I saw your posts over there. ;-) I have a pbxnsip tutorial book in-progress... what i currently have is available for $99 as pdf...to speed your learning... Matt
  9. i have to agree that we are currently straddling 32/64 bit. all servers we sell are 64bit. More and more desktops os' are. So i'm not sure 32 is mainstream... ;-) Matt
  10. the pbx files should be secured by the o/s. In other words, if you have access to the console of the machine, then you probably should be able to see that? don't you agree? Matt
  11. i wasn't going to mention it--but i agree that the security message in IE when getting help would be good to fix. Matt
  12. bug. log in as 40. (domain admin) type in an extension that is in another domain. it will go there. tx matt
  13. hmm...usually isn't an issue for me. Just that for a linux box (even more than windows) getting our guys trained to login into the console and all the commands seems unessesary. Most appliances have an update button. Just a suggestion. Matt
  14. it would be really nice if there would be a button in the UI to update pbxnsip and restart. especially for the betas...;-) i know i'm lazy...but most other software does this. just a little suggestion. Matt
  15. C and P = cool new features. ;-) Matt
  16. thanks. letting us know what to test is very helpful. tx matt
  17. i can understand the argument for domain also. hmm matt
  18. wow, that is really impressive and powerful. Matt
  19. I'm sure this is simple. in past i've only done single domain pbxnsip. NOw i want to understand multitenant for a 200 user system we are working on. I have 2 pbxnsip domains. both in the same lan. (to keep things simple) This is how i register xlite on the first domain username=301 password=301 authorization username=301 domain=192.168.1.152 How do i register an xlite to (for example) extension 200 on a second domain called "company2.pbx.com"? thanks, Matt
  20. in v4 i think the default call pickup code is *87. just try dialing *87 <ok> when another extension is ringing... Matt
  21. hey,i prefer no "quick tries". this is a customer we almost lost because of a lot of shennigans already. is there an official link for this process? Matt
  22. i wonder if this feature shouldn't be disabled in default config for all versions? (i know this is different issue than the cs410 gateway) just a thot. Matt
