  3. Hello, I appreciate that feedback. If there was the concept of an inactive user in pbxnsip, AD could create an inactive user safely. (that would not count towards licensing) Actually as I understand you could easily "extend" AD with several more objects such as extension number, dialplan and pnp info for each AD user. I think this would be the way. Matt

  13. We have a sonicwall tz180 and tz150 doing a hardware vpn. Call quality is excellent as long as we don't run out of bandwidth (which we are). matt

  15. thanks. i set this up today with a client and had bad audio. the problem is too low bandwidth which we will address, but i wanted to make sure other items won't bite me. ;-) Am i correct in this config we will have 2 audio streams going over our way connection? The extension at the remote location and the gateway? matt

  17. How advisable is it to try to have a pstn gateway at a location other than the pbxnsip server? All locations are VPN'd together, but will there be odd issues? matt

  23. Hello, With the other windows ippbx software i work with you can address each port on the gateway from the pbx setup. I think that makes sense. I hate telling IT guys to go into the patton gateway to config it because it's like an elephant in a china shop...;-) I'd love to have some way from inside pbxnsip to control outgoing and incoming routes of the gateway. matt
