  1. We are in the process of moving our shop, I will hopefully retest by Wednesday with a default install and will try to get a PCAP and log.
  2. 6. Under Trunks, P-Preferred Identity is broken, now my outbound calls through my carrier are "blocked". 7. When Calling in to the an AA or a hunt group that has an extension that is redirected out, the system keeps trying to make new outbound SIP sessions that eventually bring down the PBX. I tried getting a log but I had to power down the machine which reset it. On the phone that was calling in, the AA would pick up and send to the call group, the extension would ring once then the AA would play again, in a loop. When I build a test machine and not my working box I will try again
  3. Can I get a copy of the new Beta PAC to try out? Thank you!

  4. So far so good, looks a lot better. I have a few questions: 1. The customization of PNP at the extension level is awesome, I assume this means that I can customize the snom_3xx_phone.xml and such for the individual extensions, is this correct? 2. Under registration I see a Video URL box, what does this do? (BTW the MOS graph per extension is awesome) 3. Also under registration, I must have missed this at school, but what does "Add Contact" do here? 4. Under Trunks,I have noticed Force Local Ring Back in the last two upgrades, what does this do? 5. Under Trunks, Permission to monitor Account (Old but I wanted to know), how can a user monitor the trunk? Is this web based or can BLF? Thats what I can see for now, I noticed an HTML issue but can't figure out where it came from. When it happens again I will let you know.
  5. I have a trunk with two DIDs. What I want to do is be able to assign two CO lines to one DID and have the other DID go to a hunt group. Is this possible? The reason for this is the system has a cross use, one DID is for a home line that at the current point goes to a snom 300. The other DID is for business and goes to a few 320's, one of those 320's is at the same house as the 300. I wanted to add a couple line buttons for the "home" DID so they can answer the house line on those buttons, on the 320 as well as the 300. I can always add another extension but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. I have searched a bit on this and haven't found an answer. Thanks!
  6. His mail box is full If he is looking can he PM me a link?
  7. It is a PBX attendant console or Web Attendant console, where you can have a program to watch extensions, etc. My questions is I hear there was a PAC v4, I have a version 3, is there a download area for the v4 PAC? My customers love having this feature.
  8. What do you mean by fix? Allow transfer? That would be cool!
  9. It will allow for 5 non snom phones or gateways. You also lose the transfer button which you will need to use the * code to transfer on these devices.
  10. I had the same problem with multicast subscribe so I switched it to http client register and haven't had a problem since. One thing to note is under multicast subscribe, TLS and TCP would quit working for me but UDP would still work.
  11. Awesome!! I would love to put it on a test machine here.
  12. Is 5.0 still looking like 2013 or will it be sooner?
  13. Whoops the provision URL on the phone should be http://pbxipaddress/prov/snom360.htm Can a moderator change that for me I need to proof read my posts more.
  14. To login as a user(extension), use the main PBX login page. Instead of using admin as the user, enter the extension number. For the password, enter the web password you set when creating the extension you are logging into. If you are using the default snom extensions, edit the web password for the extension to a password you can remember. From the "login type" drop down menu, under the password box, choose user login. Click the the login button. This will log you into the user/extension on the PBX.
  15. If you are using the PBX software and not the SoHo appliance (If it is the SoHo appliance, its under the email tab), go to "Admin/Web Page Control/Templates" (http://YourPbxIp/reg_texts.htm) In the drop down menu, select snom_3xx_phone.xml, this is the XML file that controls what settings snomONE sets on that phone. On the phone you can see your current settings in the settings.xml page (http://YourPhoneIP/settings.xml) I save my edited snom_3xx_phone.xml to my computer so I can always upload a good consistent xml file for the ease of dealing with customers. I can A BIG NOTE: Always make sure the provisioning parameters, under Domain/settings (at the bottom) has the username, password, and PIN set to something you will remember. The Username and Password let you log into the phone, and if you want to get to the advanced settings of the phone, you will need the PIN and enter it under advanced on the phone. If you haven't set it, do it and reboot the phone so the new settings will take effect. I can send you my xml file if you want to look at what I have done.
  16. I assume the phone is working correctly then or is it still having the same problem? The management tool would be nice, but probably not easily done considering most of the phones I have installed have dynamic IPs and can be anywhere in the world talking to the PBX. I think it was a big step forward when I found snomONE was able to auto provision so easily. You can edit all the phone PNP template files and button layouts through the snomONE GUI so that all your phones act the way you want. I can go to the list of accounts and see if the account is registered, if the phone is on the same network or has a staic IP I can log into it from the account list page. I really like being able to remote into the PBX and change the firmware locations on the PnP page and then just call the customer and have them reboot the phones. I can literally install the PBX software (Or soho), upload my base config for the PBX, setup the trunk, deploy 5 or 6 phones and have the whole system operational in under 2 hours. Bigger and more demanding clients do take longer of course
  17. It sounds like your Pnp address on the PBX is set to the older firmware: To make sure: 1. On the PBX, you should have changed the "Admin/Settings/PnP" snom 360 firmware path to the link http://provisioning.snom.com/download/fw/snom360-8.4.32-SIP-f.bin (as per download link on snom firmware website.) 2. On the phone, the provisioning URL should be http://myipaddress/snom360/snom360.htm . You should be able to access this address from a web browser on the same network as the phone.
  18. Has this been tested on the sohos? Can we manual update the sohos with the debian install without a problem?
  19. Any word on the auto update so I can inform my customer before they ask again ?
  20. How can we change the PBX version on the SOHO without the auto update? Is this done through SSH? If so what is the port for ssh. Thanks Steve
  21. With encryption off on the phone, the same problem occurs.
  22. The noise also happens in listen and whisper mode. I will change SRTP later today and see if that works.
  23. I have attached a wav file for you listening pleasure of the sound the system makes. message.wav
  24. It also does the same thing when the phones are on 8.4.31, just downgraded them.
