  1. On the white box you need access to the console. That makes it neccessary to open the box and connect a specially designed cable to the connector. Not very convenient.
  2. I works only for the newer black boxes.
  3. Yea, we have that somewhere on the feature list... But the space added is a workaround right now.
  4. We had to seperate the speed dial from the pure BLF function. There are too many people putting a speed dial on a central number and that put the system under heavy load in large installations (we had one with 300 phones "subscribing" to the operator). That's why we have a "pure" speed dial and a BLF which also changes the LED upon status change.
  5. You can press the reset button on the back, that will reset the IP configuration and the Linux password, so that you can log in by SSH. Then you can edit the pbx.xml file and delete the password hash there. Then the admin password of the PBX is empty and you should be able to use the web browser to log in. This procedure saves your configuration data of the PBX. IMHO a big feature.
  6. Well, if the boss knows the PIN code he can always go to the mailbox and fetch the messages.
  7. Well, they send the INVITE of the PBX back to the PBX - and the PBX responds with "Loop Detected". Not sure why they send the request back to the PBX, including a lot of Record-Route and Via headers.
  8. Why don't you use a IVR node for that?
  9. Check out http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Click_To_Dial.
  10. Sure. It is not supposed to be a permanent state.

You mean that the PAC (preferrably not the TSP) forks a new process that opens a URL? That should be not too hard. Maybe it would solve a whole bunch of requests that we have on the wishlist right now.
  12. That's what I did: Create a directory with the name "html/img" in the working directory of the PBX Put a file with the name "l11_test.gif" there (size 250 x 50) Put "html/img/l11_test.gif" as Logo Link into the reg_appear.htm web page Hit the save button Press F5 on my web browser to force it to reload the pictures
  13. You can put the PBX binary on that box, no problem (well except that the PBX will think that you have two Ethernet ports). The problem is the PSTN gateway, there you better don't touch anything.
  14. What does the PBX log in the beginning? There should be something in the stat like "Timer frequency is xxx us". Maybe there is something strange with the scheduler.
  15. Well, the French holiday season is a little bit longer than in other areas... We are still waiting for the translations. The good news is that this is not serious and the missing prompts are replaced with the US English prompts.
  16. We would be more than happy to get a "reason" for picking up the call... Maybe one nice day we get a SIP header that we can evaluate. Same problem with the cell phones. We have no idea if it is the mailbox or the user himself that picks up.
  17. Did you put the slash in the beginning? There is a difference between an absolute path and a relative path. Try "img/logo2.gif" and put the put into "html/img/logo2.gif".
  18. Speed dial codes should be in the range 0x-5x anyway, which does not overlap with 90. So you won't loose anything. And you can still just three digit speed dial codes, giving you around 500 speed dial entries. Plus in the 3.1 version you can also use a intercom code which starts without a star, making 9123 possible (9 would be the star code for intercom and 123 the extension). Together with a suitable dial plan on the phone, that should get the job done quiet nicely.
  19. Is the DNS server available? Without DNS you are not able to resolve ntp.org, or whatever you specified as NTP server. You have to reboot in order to get the new settings have any effect.
  20. Well, at the moment you would have to list them all... And keep in mind that this might create a mess with the MWI, because they all will get it.
  21. There is something on the Wiki about OCS - see http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Office_C...ications_Server. Virtual servers have the problem that the PBX cannot safely allocate CPU resources as other VM may seize them as well. This will result in jitter. Thats why we say for testing it is fine, but for operation you should avoid it. Well, we run it for several years... Also Microsoft was running it on some of their booths (e.g. http://www.voip-info.de/cebit2007/newsartikel__3254.php). TMC also wrote something nice (blog.tmcnet.com/blog/tom-keating/voip/pbxnsip-ippbx-review.asp).
  22. That happens when you select that your domain is in the NANPA region.
  23. Check out http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Outbound_Calls_on_Trunk.
  24. Static registrations are described in http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Extension#Registrations. The registration string should look like "sip:+493039978418@ocs03.extranet.itacs.de;transport=tcp". I guess it does not matter if you really own that DID number (how can OCS know?). I would not put that strange Microsoft parameter into the username... Don't forget the tcp parameter, OCS does not talk much on UDP.
  25. Oh yes, there is really a crazy difference after about 10 seconds (packet #848). Is that the time when the PBX sends out the second call? In the embedded world, it is a little bit tricky to deal with the sudden demand for CPU. We tried to do a workaround in 3.0 (CS410), if feedback from there is okay we can port it back to 2.1 and then make another build for the PPC appliance.
