i use zabbix to monitor my servers for things like this. but maybe this should be included in notification, like when we get to 80% we get a warning email. Besides this issue, i wish the PBX would do checks, like disk space, like SSL, config errors, and display it on the top, as warning messages.

One of my users is experience ghost calls. Looking at the config file. i dont see anything set to prevent this. Can someone chime in how to prevent this? I did some research i think the config tags we have to add are the following. voIpProt.SIP.requestValidation.1.method="source" voIpProt.SIP.requestValidation.1.request="INVITE" I am not 100% is this will fix it. If this is the correct why dont we have this as default on the poly config file?

Some are the same, some carriers return different from other carriers. granular setting is the only way to handle them.

Yes. Actually would be nice if we can redirect trunk based different sip codes. like for busy play a busy tone. if number doesn’t exist play message saying the number doesn’t exist.

Solved: Speed Dial uses polycom address book, and it looks like that only gets provisioned during a reboot. Once you reboot, speed dial buttons seem to work as expected.

I have had this issue before. trying to assign speed dial button to EM50, nothing shows up, the phone does grab a new provisioning file. but nothing changes on the screen.

Don’t use 69.0.0 try 69.0.1 i had better luck with that. But I would wait another week or so.

So on a brand new install. of 69.0.0, what the default password? i cant login, what is the new command to reset it?

I know we are Beta. i tested on my dev environment. upgraded to v69.0.1. looks like upgrade went well. rebooted server. i noticed the page changed a little. but i cant login. I will open a support ticket. edit: I deleted all my customized files and it worked. so I guess I need to update my files.

Is this idea dead? I have two customer, one in the dental and another in pharmacy. They both want me to integrate call pop when the call is answered by the agent. I checked out the web socket via the web gui, it shows when the user gets a call. But if the user answers the call via the desk phone. We don’t get notification that it has been answered. is this something we can add? Or is there a method that I don’t know about?

I am not looking for graphs, i simple wanted a easy way to insert a link variable to point to the server hostname or hostname/img. I have one templates, i wanted to upload that one template to all PBX servers. I hard coded it, but its all pointing to one PBX, so PBX2 is getting the images for the email from PBX1. It would be nice to have this fixed.

Redirect to HTTPS: On, seems to work fine. Redirect to HTTPS: Automatic is broken. Troubleshooting: Check certificates: I do see the server and domain certificates are valid, expiration date: 03/30/2023 Not sure what else i can do to troubleshoot. Also, when its the Setting is ON. it doesnt work correctly. The GUI loads, then it forwards it to HTTPS, this should not happen this way. on the server side. when the request comes in on HTTP, it should check and send a redirect header to HTTPS.

nevermind TLS still doesnt work, TCP UDP is fine.

upgrading firmware to v6.4.3.5156 for vvx 350 seems to fix the issue

no its not on LAN and i do not have option 66, its not https issue with certs. in the logs i see something like can not validate ca cert. for some reason vvs 450 that i just got an hour ago, works fine. I also noticed this, VVX 350 is a older phone revision, the logo on the phone has the old polycom logo, but the new one that is red. i think it has to do with the root CA that lets encrypt uses expired october of 2021. so even though the provision file check and intalls the cert, the CA root cert, is saying that cert is invalid. SL_connect error Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates.SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. I just got a vvx 450, Provisioned that just fine. I cant rename the Lines, but I can add other button types those seem fine, also i noticed, depending on if there is something misconfigured on the buttons, for example Button 7 is a valid setting Button 8 I choose Speed Dial but i do not specify a paramters, Button 12 is a valid setting (Ring Group: 199), Becuase button 8 is invalid, button 12 gets moved to button 8 positions

I am having two seperate issues, but I think they are related. 1) One of my first client I onboarded, they have VVX 350 and 450 Phones, the phone seem to work. but it loses provisioning. As in the user can still make calls and trasnfer, but if i edit the button template it will not update. I have to factory reset it to be able to make it work. 2) I have a new client, about 12 phones, 2 of them VVX 450, the other 10 VVX 350. I can not provision, if the default sip transport is set to TLS or TCP, it must be UDP, also i have tried to setup the server type to HTTPS/HTTP, only HTTP seems to work. But even when its set to UDP, once the phone reboots, it says "Contacting Provisiong Server", it loads all the buttons fine, but then it says "Provisioning Failed." Even though the says "Provisiong Failed", calls/transfers seem to be fine. But if i Try to update the button template. it doesnt seems to work. Going back to provisiong section, I notice it changed to HTTPS from HTTP and the server address change to pbx.domain.com:443. IF i change it back to HTTP and pbx.domain.com without the port number and reboot the phone it will update the button changes. It seems its a cert issue. Also in Button template, i cant change the label. it just shows the Extension number, and disregard anything i put in Label.
