RichardDCG
Is it possible to monitor the status of the service flags using the apps (desk and/or mobile)? Having a mobile work force with the need to manage night switching. I can see extensions on the apps but no service flags etc..
RichardDCG
V68 seems to include parking bays ... but no service flags. Is there any other way to monitor system status based on service flags? Mobility is key now and managing a PBX from apps is becoming a requirement. It would be good to have DSS style keys on the apps.
Support
You can always just dial the service flag number from your app to set / unset your service flag directly.
RichardDCG
Yes. But how do you monitor its state? It would be nice to have a BLF function.
RichardDCG
is this a difficult thing to implement? Night switching would seem to be a standard PBX function, it would be nice to be able to manage it remotely. I can turn it on and off, but cant see the current state. Vodia PBX
We have started with the next version of the front end that takes such things to the next level. For now, the solution is to call the service flag. We'll see if there is something simple that we can include in a 68.0.2 build or so to have better control over the service flags. RichardDCG
I am having a lot of problems with v68.0.1 , I can’t log off in the browser or desktop app. It won’t play ringing, I can’t use *94 to turn off recording, no extensions or park bays show, they did in 68.0 but I can’t load that version anymore? Support
Please upgrade to 68.0.1 once again (using the same URL) it should then be from Sept 24th. And let us know if it's any better.
RichardDCG
Software version 68.0.1 (Debian64) Build date Sep 29 2021 14:15:30 Shouldn't this now be 68.0.2? I cant see how to monitor the service flags? On the plus side, the inbound ringing works on the web app. ... but the desktop app can't logoff (tested on 2 PC's uninstalled/reinstalled)? RichardDCG
Yes, DND doesn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled from the store.
Support
We're currently looking into the Windows app and errors as the above and are in process of fixing them one at a time. We would let you know when new builds are out.
RichardDCG
is monitoring service flags something that can be incorporated into the windows and mobile apps? Those with a desk phone can monitor with a BLF key, but we have a number of users that only use a windows and mobile app.... and this setup is becoming more popular. ed_fr
Hello, Here too we have these kinds of requests. It's a shame to put an IP phone on the desk just to have the BLF keys. Ideally, the Windows application would have a programmable button like the IP phones.
Support
Have any of the above been tested with 68.0.4 version on the latest apps out there? There seems to be a significant improvement IMO.

RichardDCG
I'd love to test it, but it needs to be available first? Is there any update for this?
Support
You always have to edit the URL manually in order to get to the links. http://portal.vodia.com/downloads/pbx/version-68.0.4.xml

The function of setting the service flag blf in the app isn’t available?
Vodia PBX
You can set it right now only by dialing the star code like from a good old analog phone. We'll add setting of the service flag in the next major version.

With an increasingly remote work force using apps it is becoming an issue. I expected it to be a similar way to how we can monitor park bays. AlanS
Thread resurrection. If you have anyone on your team that can fullstack. Vodia is fully api driven. You can catch all api calls in the web console. If you need a solutions expert, I know a lot of good and honest developers in India that use my same stack. We recreated the webapp to our own liking and "customer facing simplicity". Customers can see when service flags are active in realtime now. app.sipharmony.com This login is the same credentials Vodia sends out in the email too. Makes everything easier and my life a lot easier too. Vodia is powerful and THE MOST CUSTOMIZABLE white label pbx you will ever find. We've tried them all.
