WP820 - will not provision

Is there a way to provision the GS WP820 WIFI phones?  Without having to manually change passwords and configure etc.

The base station for that phone should usually work with the latest version of the PBX 68.0.3. Have you tried the 68.0.3 version yet?

I can set them up manually.  I cant see any template for the WP820.  Or a WP820 to bind a MAC to.

You just need to add the mac to an extension and provision this one.

It should get the files from the PBX ideally.

There is also a WP810, however we did not include the template in any build yet. The good news is that the phones don't have complicated buttons so it should be relatively simple to set them up through the web interface.

Ideally yes, but doesn't.   You need to manually do it from the phone web admin.  Ok for a small number of phones...

I had an issues with that phone and fusionpbx.

if you upload the phones config file, i can tell you how to fix the template. MAKE sure you redact hostname, passwords.

there is no base, it is a WIFI phone  - just phone and charging.  I had to manually configure the config on the web interface - user/pass/server etc.

Do you know exactly what I have to configure on the web interface? I have GRP2612 next to it and I copied all the information to the WP820 and still saying account not registered.

I have a pretty basic setup on it:

SIP server

SIP User

SIP Authentication

SIP password

For those who want to try the WP810/WP820/WP822/WP825 template, this should be in version 68.0.23.beta now. We did not have much time to test it, would be great to get some feedback...
