sandsvoip Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 When transferring external calls to a local extension, only the local extension is shown on the screen. Any way this can also be the external users number?? Quote
sandsvoip Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Seems this only with an assisted transfer. Not when doing a blind transfer. Quote
pbx support Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Do you have the SIP call trace for this? Wanted to see if the PBX sends the updated caller-id. Well, I guess, we can try to reproduce it here too. Quote
sandsvoip Posted March 18, 2011 Author Report Posted March 18, 2011 Please can you reproduce this? I am not at my clients office anymore. Quote
jim@itstod.se Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Hi, We have just set up our first system for a client and we have the same issue, even with unattended transfers. But transfers to external numbers show correct original caller number. PBX version: 2011-4.2.0.3981 (Win64), snom 320 phones firmware version 8.4.31. We have changed nothing in the phones settings, all settings are done with PnP from the PBX. Regards, Jim Quote
jim@itstod.se Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Hello Snom support, We need help with this, the customer is complaining. Please advise. Quote

Porter Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 We're seeing similar behavior with assisted transfer, the caller ID shows the transferring extension rather than the connected call. Unattended transfers work fine. Is there a reasonable fix for this? Quote
pbx support Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 We are working with the phone group to get this resolved. PBX can send an INFO message to the phone after the call is transfered/picked up etc to show the actual connected party. Quote
