  1. It should be possible the assistant can simply transfer the call to a conference room without disconnecting the call.

According to the document the moderator can leave the conference call and leave the participant without disconnecting the call as well but this is done only scheduling a conference.

    • Exiting conference
      • Continue the conference: Participants will be able to communicate with one another after the moderator has exited the conference. (The conference will not be deleted until after 24 hours.)
      • Mute all participants on exit: Once the moderator exits, participants’ phones will be muted.
      • Hang up the conference on exit: Once the moderator exits, the system will disconnect all participants from the conference call.

  2. Hi, You can use the AA or create a new one which is a bit more flexible when recording a message and has a lot more options then an IVR.

    Try the following.

    1. Create a new AA

    2. Record your message and make sure to include in your message that the users can press 1 to leave a message in the GM "general mailbox"

    3. Add the extension or the VM under the "direct destination" and add a 1 in the user input.

Now you can add your new AA account under the service flag number.

  3. In the Vodia PBX working directory there is a folder called generated folder, in Windows the path is C:\Program Files\Vodia Networks\Vodia PBX\generated> and in Linux it's

usr/local/pbx/generated in it are the configuration files for all of the phones on that particular domain. You can find the contents of the provisioned phone and do a query for 993307 and and you can log into the phone GUI and see it was programmed manually.

The other solution would be to reset the phone and provisioning it again.

  4. Hi, Upgrading to version 5 is extremely simple, for version 4 users you will have to manually download 2 items.

    1. Download the OS version that correspond to your machine.

    2. Download pbxctrl-5.2.4.dat

Copy paste the link on your web browser.

    For example http://vodia.com/downloads/pbx/win32/pbxctrl-v5.2.4-32.exe and http://vodia.com/downloads/pbx/pbxctrl-5.2.4.dat

copy these files to your PBX working directory which in windows is C:\Program Files\Vodia Networks\Vodia PBX or C:\Program Files\pbxnsip\pbx

or in linux usr/local/pbx or usr/local/pbx

3rd you will have to rename your Pbxnsip or snomONE executable which is pbxctrl.exe and name it temp_pbxctrl.exe after you rename the file you can now rename your new executable and dat file.

pbxctrl-v5.2.4-32.exe to pbxctrl.exe and pbxctrl-5.2.4.dat pbxctrl.dat after you have rename your files restart the pbx service.

  5. Hi, create a new dial plan for those users whom are not allow to dial a particular number. You can continue to add not allow numbers on the dial plan then on the final entry you can allow everything else.

There is also the PIN option "P" which will require users to enter a PIN number which is found on the extension level, if PIN is set then the users has to enter his/her PIN to make an outbound call or international call if that's the case.

  6. unfortunately there are no wizard to go by in migrating an older version 3.4 to 4 or 5 however

the best solution would be to install a fresh version 5 installation , we can then provide you with a temp license so you can get started with your migration.

You can open a ticket at the below link so we can better understand your migration as well as the best course of action in making your re-deployment a success.
