Vodia PBX Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 You might have seen it already on the mailing list, 5.2.3 has been released. The release notes are to be found on http://www.vodia.com/documentation/releasenotes523 as usual. The link for the update is http://www.vodia.com/downloads/pbx/version-5.2.3.xml also as usual. The 5.2.3 actually has an improved software update mechanism that shows you the progress now. If you upgrade, pay attention to the email settings. If you have selected that the email settings are in the domain, the system does not automatically fall back to the system settings if the domain settings are incomplete. Quote
Vodia PBX Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 Update: There was a bug in the email client in the Linux versions. If you have used the build from yesterday, please update one more time. It should show the build date of today (6/25/2014), then it should be okay. Quote

shapa Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 GXV3240 - how to? LAN only or WAN is also supported? Many our customers are asking about this phone to support What about address book? Is it supported as well? Quote
Vodia Telephone System Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 Yes, LAN and WAN. You have to provide the PBX url to the phone through option 66 or manually though. For details: http://vodia.com/documentation/pnp_grandstream If you mean LDAP, then yes. LDAP will be provisioned too and when you go to the phone's LDAP book, you should be able to search a contact by its name etc. However they have not made it as simple as it should be in android. Maybe they will improve it. Quote
shapa Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 Sounds tempting Ordered one phone on Amazon to check tomorrow how everything works Quote
shapa Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Ok, provisioning works (tested WAN) fine. LDAP address book doesn't work Settings seems to be OK, but no contacts shown. Snom phones works fine. How to fix? https://www.dropbox.com/s/nn7g4dbi73awc3i/Screenshot%202014-07-04%2017.35.22.png ... OK, realized there is a different app for LDAP contacts - "LDAP Book". It works fine. Quote
shapa Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Additionally, provisioning parameters are insecure. Should be changed to: port 5061 tls sips It works fine in case of manual adjustment Quote
John Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Hello, Software-Version: 5.2.3 (Debian64) Build Date: Jun 28 2014 06:40:10 we upgraded to 5.2.3 after the bug with the e-mail had been fixed. But the PBX cannot send any e-mails. The system does not even try to send an e-mail after i.e. an unanswered call or after a voicemail was left (nothing appears in the logfile). When we try to send a test message (from the e-mail setup screen), the following error appears in the logfile: [3] 14:37:43.739 EMAI: Last message repeated 2 times[7] 14:37:43.739 EMAI: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX: Connect to XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:25[8] 14:37:43.743 EMAI: Received SMTP traffic220 mailsrv01.XXXXXXXX.XX Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service ready at Mon, 7 Jul 2014 14:38:53 +0300[8] 14:37:43.743 EMAI: Send SMTP trafficEHLO localhost[8] 14:37:43.745 EMAI: Received SMTP traffic250-mailsrv01.remoteaXXXgr Hello [XX.XXX.XXX.XX]250-SIZE 10485760250-PIPELINING250-DSN250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES250-X-ANONYMOUSTLS250-AUTH NTLM LOGIN250-X-EXPS GSSAPI NTLM250-8BITMIME250-BINARYMIME250-CHUNKING250-XEXCH50250-XRDST250 XSHADOW[8] 14:37:43.745 EMAI: Send SMTP trafficAUTH LOGIN[8] 14:37:43.747 EMAI: Received SMTP traffic334 VXNlcm5hbWU6[5] 14:37:43.747 EMAI: SMTP Server returned unexpected authentication result 334[8] 14:37:43.747 EMAI: Send SMTP trafficQUIT[8] 14:37:43.748 EMAI: Received SMTP traffic334 UGFzc3dvcmQ6 The mail server works fine. According to the server administrator, the pbx does not send the auth login to the server. Cannot you please check it and possibly upload a new Debian build? This is urgent. Quote
John Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Also the "Administratively log in these agents: " and "Administratively log out these agents:" fields aren't available in the edit Agent Group screen anymore. Did you move them (where) or remove them? Quote
Vodia support Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 That has been remove couple version down. You can simply add agents by adding them to "All agents for this ACD " and also to "Currently logged in agents:" it's = to Administratively log in these agents and Administratively log out these agents by adding the extension there. There was no need to add these extra settings since the functionality was always there. To log them out just remove them as usual. Quote

I have retested VM, Missed calls ect all worked fine here. Vodia Support Quote
John Posted July 8, 2014 Report Posted July 8, 2014 The "Use same settings for all domains" is already set to yes. I am pretty sure that this is a PBX issue. The system does not even try to send e-mails most of the time. In addition, many applications and services use our exchange server to send notifications, alarms etc. The e-mails from all systems with the exemption of the PBX are sent successfully. Before upgrading to 5.2.3 the PBX could also send e-mails without issues. Quote
Vodia support Posted July 8, 2014 Report Posted July 8, 2014 Well it looks like there is user authentication issue is the password correct? perhaps you can turn Encryption to "don't use TLS " [5] 14:37:43.747 EMAI: SMTP Server returned unexpected authentication result 334" 250-X-ANONYMOUSTLS 250-AUTH NTLM LOGIN Quote
Vodia PBX Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 If the email server does not support PLAIN authentication (e.g. LOGIN) then there was a problem. If that is the case, let us know what OS you have and we'll spin you a 5.2.3a image. Quote
timelo Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Hello, We have updated our system to the new release (5.2.3 Debian64) this weekend. I actually have a problem to add MOH since the update, it seems that the file is not uploaded on the server or not in the right place. I will try to reboot our server during the day, just in case... I wanted to know if anybody had issued the same problem in the 5.2.3 release ? Thank you. Regards, Elodie PS : Sorry for my bad english Quote
Vodia PBX Posted August 5, 2014 Author Report Posted August 5, 2014 ACK. We have a problem with the CentOS32 machine. We'll hopefully get it up again soon. We have made 5.2.3a (http://vodia.com/downloads/snomONE/version-5.2.3a.xml) for centos32. Sorry for the inconvenience. Quote
Slartibartfast Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 Hello, Software-Version: 5.2.4 (Debian64) Build Date: Aug 22 2014 06:33:15 Where have the backup options gone? I do not seem to find the options to save the configuration or the domain. Is this just me? best regards, Mike Quote
Vodia support Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 That feature was removed a couple of versions back although it's convenient it was also causing some headaches. the most efficient way of backing up your configuration is to make a copy of the working directory of the PBX. Quote
