Sounds like a problem with NAT and the router configuration. Thats a classical. http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Server_Behind_NAT is a good starting point for that journey. Do NOT use STUN. It is one of the biggest misunderstandings in the SIP world that STUN is doing you any favor. Just use TLS (actually Plug and Play).

What you can always do is to backup your configuration (working directory), e.g. on a USB stick. That includes the key. This is also good if your hardware should crash, you can run the config then from another server. For high availability, consider using the virtual appliance; that makes it possible to upgrade your hardware while the PBX is running.

Well, rebooting the server is unsatisfactory. Next time, please restart only the PBX service to see if we can narrow it down to the PBX and exclude the rest of the server.

For the license server, this is a new installation. The license server cannot rely on the IP address because of NAT and IP addresses changing all the time, so we need to reset the code and then you can re-install the license. I sent you a PM, if you can reply the activation code we can take care about it.

Well, after all the SoHo is a complete Debian system. Not being the big experts here, but I guess you can add a file to /etc/network/rc-up.d which gets executed when your interface comes up. If there is a iptables or route command that solves your problem, you probably can just put it there.

Vom Log her sieht eigentlich alles gut aus...

Also make sure that you are PnP the phones, so that the recording button gets mappped to the XML screen.

It is not unusual that someone tries to scan your PBX. If you don't use trivial or even empty passwords the automatic blacklisting should take care about this guy.

Grandstream HT701 - incoming call waiting call mutes original call
Vodia PBX replied to voipguy's topic in ATA Devices
Would be great if that would solve the problem. -
You probably want ^(0[1-7][0-9]{9})@.*

That is definitevely very serious. Seems like you have 600 ports reserved for RTP. That means you can have max 600 / 4 = 150 calls going on at the same time. Maybe the OS also needs a "grace period" for old ports, and the PBX also needs some free space to find a new random port. In short words: Increase the number of RTP ports. 600 is probably somehow on the limit, I would say 1200 should be much more relaxed.

Oh if you only have snom 300, then you cannot peak at the configuration generated for the other phones. But you can log into the webpage of the PBX, then admin mode, web page control, then you can select the file snom_3xx_fkeys. That the one that you need to modify to your needs. You can take a peek at the other snom config files to see how they use the directory button and link them to the PBX XML.

Spitfire trunk stops working after upgrade

Account name, password, domain, outbound proxy--in other words the stuff that you received from the service provider. -
How to change to UK voice and ring tones?
Vodia PBX replied to Jeremy Isherwood's topic in Linux-related Topics
They are part of the UK voice prompts (http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Language_Prompts). -
Prefix to dial an extension's Cell Phone
Vodia PBX replied to Telis Ltd's topic in Using Cell Phones
You mean *00? -
I assume you are using a SIP service provider? Do you hear ringback properly when you make internal calls between extensions?

It is automatically set up when you use plug and play (e.g. DHCP option 66, multicast PnP). If you have one device configured, you can take a look at the configuration files in the "generated" folder. http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Plug_and_Play
