rtl
Been trying to configure a service flag from this on https://doc.vodia.com/docs/serviceflags but it won't follow the time. If I use dates only then that works. It also doesn't seem to accept dates on the format DD/MM/YYYY as documented. Using v67.0.
Vodia PBX
Well 67.0.5 is the last version where the frontend did not use the locale of the browser to present dates in the local format. We have updated the documentation link with more up-to-date information.
rtl
That doesn't explain why the date/time format doesn't work as documented as I've highlighted
Vodia PBX
The main problem was that in the UK, dates are DD/MM while in the US it is MM/DD. That is why we had to redesign it, and the only way is to use the browser locale, which is consistent with the experience of the user in other pages. In most of the cases there is no need to specify the time, and the holiday hours are the right solution. There are only very few cases where a holiday starts in the middle of the day, I am not aware about holidays in the UK that would fall into that category? There are no statuatory holidays that fall into that category. However many businesses take time out for training, the day before a statuatory holiday where they may end at midday and so on. It's actually quite common hence why I used it when I saw it documented.
Vodia PBX
Hmm for those days it would make sense to use the holiday schedule. Workaround is to manually turn the service flag off for the day until the post-67 version is running.
rtl
Which is what I did and followed the documentation which appears to be wrong which is the whole point of the question. It's clearly documented but doesn't work
Vodia PBX
So we did spend some time here testing this in the latest version. A pattern like 5/9/22;2P (US locale) does work like expected (holiday starting at 2:00 PM and ending on the same day). It takes the schedule from the holiday hours field, which is usually empty. What is important that this field is read like the other day fields, meaning that if you invert the flag, that means the flag is active during that time. Henrikt
What exactly should I write in the List of holidays, if there is to be a holiday in 4-8 july. normally we write 07/04 07/05 07/06 07/07 07/08 but this no longer works. (V.68.0.16)

RichardDCG
service flag holiday dates are US only format? It will not accept DD/MM, even though that format is set in settings... PBX V 68.0.12 and 68.0.
Vodia PBX
The frontend would look at your browser setting and then automatically use MM/DD/YYYY (US) DD/MM/YYYY (UK) or DD.MM.YYYY (ROW) format. Internally it should be converted into YYYYMMDD format, and this should end up on the file system that way.
RichardDCG
I am in Australia using DD/MM/YYYY and cannot enter it that way, only MM/DD/YYYY.
