  1. A PIN can only have numbers. DECT usually uses only 4 digits, but is reasonable okay because the registration window is usually only open for a short of time and then after that not used.
  2. At least I dont see the setting... But this is a good point, we need to add that.
  3. Ouch. Workaround is obviously to use only 4 digits. Next version of the m9 should use only the first 4 digits.
  4. Yea, we need to come up with a software update link for the UK prompts, which will also include the UK ringback tone. Until then, you have to log in with SSH and download them manually (using wget).
  5. Well, if you went into the web interfaces of the phones one by one and set it up, then you have to repeat that step (unless you put in a DNS address). If you are using DHCP option 66, you could just change that address there. If you are using the multicast PnP, it should be automatic.
  6. That would also concern me. Maybe there is a UDP fragmentation problem? If you have Wireshark on the PBX host, it would be easy to see if that is the case.
  7. I would suggest to start with wiki.snomone.com. If you are looking for specific topics, there are help buttons in the web interface; if you click on one, you should get directly to the right page on that wiki. If you are able to make outbound calls, you are already in a good shape. There is a section about trunks (http://wiki.snomone.com/index.php?title=Trunk_Overview), which should be a good starting point.
  8. Hmm. We use the function "openlog" in the Linux environment (see openlog(3)). I believe that this function must somehow open the socket then; but this for sure depends on the OS setup. At least we are not explicitly opening a UDP socket and this we dont have control over it.
  9. Well, LDAP is a complex protocol and the PBX implements only a fraction of it. I would say the LDAP implemetation on the PBX side is pretty much tailored for the snom phones, I don't think you will be able to really use it with Linksys devices.
  10. You can just copy the whole directory; the only thing you need to change is the executable (well Windows executables obviously dont work in Linux). If you have a MAC-based license, you might have to get a new license. For activation-based licenses it should be okay to re-activate the code.
  11. In these cases, just send us a short email or private message and we'll manually activate the key.
  12. There is a settings performance_limit that you can change (in pbx.xml). However, if 75 is a problem for you, you probably need a faster CPU.
  13. Well, that means that there are too many calls within a short time. You can increase the value of max_udp_invite or use TCP for SIP.
  14. Should be up again. *note* thissite will be going down for maintenance on 18th Saturday 18th February, 10PM to6AM GMT, The host is moving this server to a different site they only expect 3hours downtime but schedule more just in case.
  15. I would try VPN. We are using OpenVPN, and it works quite well. DMZ might also work, but you have to keep in mind than not only the SIP ports must be put into the DMZ, but also the RTP ports.
  16. They call calls (not call legs). As far as I can see, a value of "1" should work. Not sure why you have to add one, hopefully there is not a call lingering somewhere.
  17. There are some global settings (in the pbx.xml file) that influence the behavior. They are rtcp_loss_rle, rtcp_dup_rle, rtcp_rcpt_times, rtcp_rcvr_rtt, rtcp_stat_summary and rtcp_voip_metrics. You can set them to "false", then they should not be offered in the SDP any more.
  18. Hmm. Maybe there is a mix up of calls and call legs. From the PBX perspective, it is the call leg which is expensive, the call itself is not very expensive but thats what the user perceives.
  19. Here is the next one: http://wiki.snomone....rona_Austrinids Don't be fooled by the "Beta". The "human readable" release names are now after comets. The next one will most probably have something with "´Gamma" in it.
  20. Of course never change a running system unless you have to. But 4.5 is released (http://wiki.snomone....2011-4.5.0.1016)), please note that the URL ends with a ")".The build number is 1016.
  21. Maybe double check in three days the size of the directories again to make sure the problem is really solved.
  22. Update: I recommend that you turn G.722 off on the Android. This was causing a major "call quality" problem on my side...
  23. We could use the flag state button type, as it is not defined for ACD.
  24. You can do whatever you want. This is standard debian linux, running on ARM.
