Rogier
Hi, Does the PBX hava an function in which the call will return to the original extension after a transfer. Example : Extension 100 trasfers call with *77 to another extension, but this wasn't picked up. Is there an option that it will return after x time to extension 100 ? Of course the nicest way is a warm transfer, but is there another solution We are using version 3.3.0.3165 Thanks

pbx support
No. Generally, if there was no answer the call will go to the voicemail (depending on timeout)
sandsvoip
No. Generally, if there was no answer the call will go to the voicemail (depending on timeout) any way this will be implemented in the near future? Seems a pretty nice feature to me and my clients.
Vodia PBX
This feature is available when you park a call. If nobody picks up, the system will call the one who parked the call. But you are right, for unattended transfer this also makes a lot of sense. Maybe we can even enhance it a little and say it will also get transferred back when the call hits the mailbox. polycom2080
this would be a very nice option to add to the PBX, can you add it to the next version ?

If possible please enable in next version. Brgds Thomas

Vodia PBX
We are working on a new feature, it is called "smart blind" and a domain setting. After a blind transfer, the call is actually set into a "listen in" mode, so that the one who transfers the call can hear if the other side is ringing, connected, voice-mail and so on. In order to get the call back, the transferring party may press "*" to get the call back. It all requires that the connected phone does not automatically hang up after it initiated the blind transfer and does not hold the call (that will be the hardest part rolling this feature out). StepanL
+1 Our users aswell asking for this future, any news ?
Vodia PBX
Well we did some work in the area. However the mail problem as far as I remember was that most VoIP phones imply don't support this kind of transfer and if the PBX does not immediately disconnect the call, things get screwed up on the phone. StepanL
may be good idea make this thing optional in extension setting, and if necessary, pbx admin could switch it on or off
Vodia PBX
Actually the phone can control that better than the PBX. Mostly depending on the phone type, you will have a superior transfer experience or a bad one. Adding a settings for this is problematic, as it will be in the wrong position most of the times, generating support and frustration... boboba
if we have this feature in a phone, can we use it on snom 320, and how?
Vodia support
Check under the domain -general setting. The setting is called "Transfer reminder after" and there is a drop down that you can choose a value as well.
